About Classes

  • Point-of-Contact: Scott Cioffari, Operations Director, , 919-357-2935
  • VP offers hundreds of different classes that cater to all levels of players from professionals down to youth beginners
  • Classes may be defined as highly specific, i.e. “Advanced Jump Setting”, or general in nature, i.e. “General Skills Training Block”

General Description of Classes

Skills Specific Classes

These are generally for (but not limited to) more experienced players. Classes are designed to teach very specific skills, i.e. “Advanced Jump Setting”

General Skills Classes

If you aren’t sure what class to sign up for if it’s your first time and you aren’t as familiar with the technical terms, we would suggest either a 2 on 1 OR a general skills block

High Performance Classes

“HP” classes are designed for the more experienced players and feature skill training as well as both combination & competition drills

Competitive Volleyball League (“CVL”)

The “CVL” is a winter & spring league for players that do not play “club volleyball”. The CVL is comprised of over 300 players on 30 different teams, ranging from Middle School to Junior Varsity as well as our popular Varsity League

2 on 1

A “2 on 1” class is a small group lesson that features 2 players and 1 coach. Players determine which skill they chose to work on

Youth Performance

Classes generally designed for players 12 & Under. Emphasis is on skill development as well as introducing the “VolleyPerformance” system to the younger players

General Skills Open Training Block

A General Skills Block class is a group lesson that will feature an overview of the general skills of volleyball (passing, setting, attacking, serving, etc.)

Training for Tryouts

Generally the extremely popular “Training for Tryouts” segment is just prior to both school ball tryouts in early fall and club tryouts in late fall. The purpose of this class is to prepare players for tryouts for their school or club teams

Summer Camps

Individual Skills Camps (Setting, Libero, Passing, Hitting, etc.) to Youth Development Camps. We offer ELITE training for ALL LEVEL of athletes from an experienced college level player to an inexperienced youth beginner

Satellite Camps

Our highly trained staff will come to your school and train your program on-site

Sand Performance

These classes are held outdoor on sand courts to train players on the booming sport of beach/sand volleyball

Friends and teammates are encouraged to play on teams together, when applicable.
