Description
The CVL is a popular alternative to club volleyball for players that may not have the time nor resources to commit to a full-blown club team. The CVL combines skills training, match competition, as well as physical training opportunities.
The CVL runs from Year round. Athletes are placed on teams according to age, skill level and position. Every evening the athletes will have a combination of skill training and match play with variations depending on the age division. Most teams will play two matches and ref one each week.
Age Divisions
YOUTH – Open to 2nd-5th grade girls and boys. Focuses on a new set of skills each week, combining all techniques of the game along with 6 v 6 game play. This is a great way for our young players to learn the game!
MIDDLE SCHOOL – Open to 6th-8th grade girls. Will have a combination of new skill training, technical reviews, and 6 v 6 game play.
HIGH SCHOOL – Open to 9th-12th grade girls. Skill training and match play will occur on a daily basis with an emphasis on repetition and pace relative to their skill level.
BOYS CVL – New this year! Open to 6th-12th grade boys. Same as the above method, each day will include skill training and match depending on participant numbers.
Each team will be provided a coach and compete against other teams within their division. Friends and teammates will be put on teams together, when applicable.
